Rich in polyphenols.

In just a few months of their existence, they have managed to win two international prize medals in the design and quality category (in fact, a GOLD medal in the International Competition for Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Los Angeles and a Silver Medal in the International Competition for Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Tokyo), but most importantly, “The Governor” and “'The Governor Limited Edition” is one of the few olive oils in the world that has been awarded a HEALTH CLAIM REPORT from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with UC Davis Olive Center University of California. A rare high percentage of polyphenols, much higher than the percentage normal for a product that receives a health claim report.
The taste and intense aroma in combination with the unique design make the Governor a very special high-quality olive oil.
The Governor is named after and in honor of the first Governor of independent Greece, the Corfiot Aristocrat Count Ioannis Kapodistrias (1776-1831)”, seen on the label of the bottle on a gold-colored decoration made of metal (pewter).
The difference between Limited and Premium?
The Limited is picked and pressed earlier, making it more powerful and robust. More peppery and intense, with aromas of rocket, artichoke and freshly cut grass. The polyphenol content is also slightly higher than that of the Premium.
The Premium is more floral and fruity, with notes of green tomato and almond.
