The Pons family (grandfather and grandson) have a tradition of searching for the very first ripe olives in October. These are carefully picked by hand and then festively pressed into a delicious olive oil. This first olive oil of the season is now also available to you.

The olives are picked before they are fully ripe. This makes the oil much richer in polyphenols – natural antioxidants that contribute to a healthy lifestyle and a longer shelf life for the oil.

The taste is powerful, grassy and slightly spicy. Think of freshly mown grass, green almonds, artichokes and a subtle peppery aftertaste. True connoisseurs may also detect hints of chocolate. Drizzle over burrata, grilled vegetables, carpaccio or simply on a piece of bread with some sea salt.
