Château d’Estoublon Flacon Couture: French olive oil at its most luxurious. A Grand Cru blend by oenologist Victor Joyeux in a sculptural couture bottle. Read more
The flavour unfolds almost like a tasting menu. The opening is vivid and green, with fresh rocket, herbs and vegetal notes. Greater structure follows with raw artichoke and black pepper. The long finish then softens, ending on fresh green almond.
The rebirth of an icon
The Couture bottle has been an icon of Château d’Estoublon for almost twenty years. For this new incarnation, the design was reconsidered and made more sculptural, more powerful and even more refined. It reflects the château’s current ambition: not merely to produce outstanding olive oil, but to create a complete luxury experience.
That may sound grand, but here it fits. The oil, the blend, the bottle, the glass, the leather, the engraving and even the act of pouring have been designed as one. This is the olive-oil equivalent of a couture piece: functional, but far too beautiful to be described as merely functional.
Château d’Estoublon lies in the heart of Provence, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The estate works with classic Provençal olive varieties and produces its oils at the château itself. For Flacon Couture, the olives are hand-picked at optimal ripeness, selected in the grove and taken to the estate mill within twelve hours.
