The rebirth of an icon.
The Couture bottle, an icon of Estoublon for nearly 20 years, has been redesigned. Now more assertive and sculptural, it embodies a new vision of this highly exclusive brand's quest for excellence.
Driven by a passion for detail, Victor Joyeux, the estate's oenologist, has created an exceptional blend from a careful selection of plots. A vibrant Grand Cru olive oil, the ultimate expression of his expertise.
The olives in the Couture bottle, hand-picked at their peak, are sorted on the plot. They are then transported to the estate's mill, where they are pressed within 12 hours of harvest, guaranteeing unparalleled freshness and flavor. Upon leaving the mill, each batch of olive oil is tasted immediately. The best vintages are carefully reserved for the final blend.
The Stopper
The glass stopper, designed by Estoublon and resembling cut crystal, evokes the
refinement of the finest spirits.
The Collar
The leather collar enhances the bottle with refinement.
The Engraving
A symbol of authenticity, the Estoublon signature is engraved directly into the glass.
The Pourer
The bottle features a spout for easy and precise pouring.
Tasting Notes
The Start ... of the taste
FRESH ARUCA, HERBS, VEGETABLES.
The first impression is striking with its vegetal notes, reminiscent of crunchy arugula. A frank, clean, and lively attack.
The Heart ... of the taste
RAW ARTICHOKE, BLACK PEPPER.
The profile unfolds with greater complexity: a precise structure carried by the assertive
character of artichoke and the spicy notes of black pepper.
Finally
GREEN ALMOND.
The finish is smooth, with a subtle, lingering green almond flavor that prolongs the tasting experience with a pleasant feeling of freshness, without excessive sharpness.
About Château d'Estoublon: A Story of Passion, Luxury and Olive Oil from Provence
In the heart of Provence, surrounded by rolling vineyards and centuries-old olive groves, lies Château d'Estoublon. Once a dilapidated castle, now a shining icon of French luxury and craftsmanship. This beautiful estate owes its transformation to the vision and resources of a Swiss businessman, Mr Schneider, owner of the prestigious watch brand Breitling.
The History: A Dream Come True
The story begins with a dream. Valerie Schneider, Mr Schneider's daughter, was married to Rémy Reboul, a chef with an adventurous career in the wild. Rémy dreamed of owning his own wine château in Provence. His father-in-law decided to make this dream come true and bought the dilapidated Château d'Estoublon.
What followed was an impressive renovation of the castle and the surrounding estate. Millions of euros were invested to breathe new life into the château. The result is a breathtaking estate that is not only known for its excellent wines, but above all for its exclusive olive oil of the highest quality.
Exclusive Olive Oil from Provence
The olive oil from Château d'Estoublon is unique. It is made from typical Provençal olive varieties such as Salonenque, Grossane, Picholine and Berruguette. These varieties are carefully selected and processed into high-quality monocultivar olive oil. The result is a pure and refined taste that reflects the terroir of Provence.
But it is not only the quality of the olive oil that impresses. The presentation is also unrivalled. The olive oil is delivered in stylish bottles that are so beautiful that they are perfect as gifts. Château d'Estoublon combines the art of olive oil production with the finesse of French luxury.
A Member of the Comité Colbert
Château d'Estoublon's reputation has not gone unnoticed. The estate became a member of the prestigious Comité Colbert, an exclusive French organisation representing iconic brands such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Hennessy. This membership underlines Château d'Estoublon's status as a global player in the world of luxury products.
Personal Experience
My connection with Château d'Estoublon goes beyond admiration from afar. I have had the honour of meeting the Schneider and Reboul families in person. I was even the very first guest to stay overnight at the château after its renovation. Together with partners such as Big Green Egg and journalists from De Telegraaf, including Felix Wilbrink, I have seen up close how this beautiful estate has become a symbol of passion, craftsmanship and refinement.
In 2020, the family sold the Château to billionaire Stéphane Courbit, with the participation of the Prats family (for their expertise in winemaking) and the former presidential couple Sarkozy-Bruni to enhance its prestige.
