Of course we could simply send a discount code by email. Nice and efficient. But as a present, we find that a little uninspiring.
That is why we turn the voucher into a real physical gift. Something you can hand over, put under the Christmas tree, place on the table or have sent directly to the person receiving it.
No enormous gift box that ultimately consists mostly of cardboard. We prefer to keep it simple, cheerful and personal.
The voucher is placed in a transparent gift bag, so it immediately looks like something enjoyable to receive.
A little decorative straw makes the whole thing look rather more festive and rather less administrative.
The package is finished with a red elastic band, with the personal card attached to it.

Is the voucher being sent to you first? Then we can simply leave the card blank, so you can write something kind, funny or terribly sensible on it yourself.

Which one? We leave that partly to our stock and inspiration at the time. It is a present, after all. So the recipient not only receives a voucher to choose something delicious later, but can start tasting straight away.
The gift vouchers are available in four amounts. The recipient receives the corresponding voucher code and can use it in our webshop for olive oil, balsamic vinegar, delicacies or something else delicious. The gift vouchers are valid for 2 years.
A perfectly reasonable question. The voucher itself hardly weighs anything. But we deliberately want to turn it into a real gift and send it as a physical present.
We prepare the voucher, put it in the transparent gift bag, add the straw, red elastic and card, and then send it as an order either to you or directly to the recipient.
In the Netherlands, orders qualify for free shipping from €50. This means the €15, €25 and €45 gift vouchers are below the free-shipping threshold. The €75 voucher already qualifies for free shipping within the Netherlands.
We understand. If all we did was email a code, shipping costs would indeed make no sense. But then what you receive is... a code in an email.
We prefer something to arrive through the letterbox or at the door that immediately says: somebody actually thought about me. Unfortunately, that means there is also a real shipment involved. PostNL still refuses to accept our smile as payment. :-)
You can of course send the order directly to the person receiving the gift voucher. Simply enter their address as the delivery address during checkout and add your personal message in the order comments.
We will take care of the gift packaging and write your message on the card. The only thing left for you to do is remember to ask later what they bought with it.
You decide how much you would like to give. We make it look festive. And the recipient gets the best part: browsing at leisure and deciding what to spend the voucher on. And if you choose €75, we make sure there is already something delicious to taste.
