We are regularly asked whether we can wrap an order as a gift before sending it. Completely understandable – and we would genuinely like to. The trouble is that carefully wrapping every individual gift takes quite a lot of additional time.
Our first priority is therefore slightly less romantic, but more important: making sure all those delicious products arrive safely, securely and properly protected.
Bottles, tins, balsamic vinegars and other delicacies all have their own shapes and weights. During transport, proper protection therefore matters most.
The gift bag is therefore supplied separately inside the shipping box. Once your order arrives, simply remove the bottle from its protective packaging, place it in the bag and voilà: from shipping package to present in about ten seconds.

The glossy finish gives the white bag a clean and luxurious appearance.
If you like, you can easily attach your own card or label to the cord.
A reinforced cardboard base adds extra stability when the bottle is standing in the bag.
Do you not want to order a separate gift bag? Add a friendly note in the order comments saying that the bottle is a gift and ask whether we can include a transparent gift bag.
If we have them in stock, we will include one free of charge and separately: a transparent plastic gift bag with a gold- or silver-coloured base and matching twist tie.
So this is not an official extra service complete with ribbons department and gift-wrapping counter. Just something nice we are happy to do when we can. :-)
The transparent gift bags are suitable for simple individual bottles without their own presentation box. Many luxury olive oils come in wide or tall gift packaging, and these simply will not fit.
Not sure? Feel free to ask in the order comments. We will see what is possible, but we cannot guarantee in advance that every bottle or package will fit inside this free bag.
We pack the products securely for shipping. You take care of the gift presentation once the order arrives.

We would happily decorate every bottle with paper, ribbons and bows. But ultimately we prefer to spend that time carefully collecting, checking and securely packing your order.
