This Toscano IGP Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Frantoio Franci is produced primarily in the hills of the Val d'Orcia and the Tuscan region of La Maremma. The olive oil is primarily made from a blend of typical regional olive varieties such as Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Olivastra. The olive oil has an intense green color with golden reflections and a pleasant and distinctive bitter and spicy flavor.
Aroma:
Medium fruity, aroma of freshly picked olives, with spicy notes of artichoke, ripe fruit, and tomato.
Taste:
Fresh and fruity, a slightly sweet sensation followed by a pleasant bitter and spicy note of medium intensity. Rich finish full of vegetal notes and herbaceous sensations.
Uses:
Apply unprocessed to soups, vegetables, legumes, meat, bruschetta, pinzimonio, salads, and fish for a mild flavor.
