The Cornezuelo olive belongs to the West Spanish province of Extremadura. This olive oil from the famous Naturvie house comes from a unique plantation. The grandfather of the current owner Fernando Sánchez-Mohino has managed to create a plantation on his extensive estate from a few wild trees. There are no rows, it is a random forest of old trees.
The olives are picked by hand, transported in small crates to avoid bruising and immediately disappear into the press. The result is a fantastic Extra Virgin Olive Oil with the aroma and flavor of green leaf, apple, green almond, mint, fig and tomato. Full, velvety and finally with a slightly peppery accent.
The special (decanter) bottle was designed by the Spanish three-star chef Martin Berasategui.
